I go by Mikka and am originally from Columbus, Ohio. Throughout my childhood, I used reading and writing to escape the slow Midwest. My family and I moved to Houston, Texas in 2016; I currently reside in Huntsville, Texas where I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication at Sam Houston State University. I gravitate towards storytelling and communicating purposeful topics through writing and functional design.

As a swift learner, I've collected many hobbies, memories, and passions. I learn best with hands-on experience and open conversations. I'm open to any topic and medium, from video games to comic books, music, food, fashion, and community events.
